The Prince Edward Island’s Fisherman’s Association (PEIFA) is setting out to break the record for the world’s longest lobster roll durin gthe 2017 PEI International Shellfish Festival. The attempt will take place Sept. 17 at 1pm in the main festival tent.
The current record of 180.2 feet is held by the Lobster Festival in Shediac, New Brunswick.
PEI’s new attempt will be backed by Chef Kurtis Ellis of Simple Pleasures Intimate Catering. Kurtis owns PEI’s only private dining restaurant and also specializes in offsite catering.
